Since 2017 I have been teaching illustration at Ireland's National College of Art & Design.

The course is Ireland's first Illustration BA. I design and deliver briefs on a broad range of topics including research, studio practice and professional practice.

In 2021, I delivered an academic poster at the Illustration Research Symposium #11. The poster explored how the history of illustration can be utilized within the studio to introduce students to practical research methodologies that can inform and support their own practice as illustrators.
