I'm an illustrator, writer and educator.
In 2008 I set up a small studio and, over the years, I have been working on a broad range of interdisciplinary projects that allow me to explore my passion for words and pictures.
As an illustrator, I have also collaborated with clients on a range of projects including editorial work, educational materials, comics, book jackets and album art. I am also keenly interested in self-initiated projects.
As a writer, I have produced educational materials for museums; written for design blogs; and is currently working on a debut title for Laurence King Publishers. In 2016 I launched Illustration Chronicles — an ongoing web project that explores a history of illustration through a series of critical essays.
I currently lecture illustration at Ireland's National College of Art & Design where I am responsible for designing and delivering briefs that focus on research.
In 2014 I graduated from Kingston University, London with an MA in illustration. Before that, I had studied History of Art and Fine Art at the National College of Art & Design, Dublin.
Having lived and worked in a host of European cities, I am currently based in Ireland.
